Invitation du Jour

I’m loving this invitation suite designed by Jen Montgomery for a Cuban-American beach wedding in California.

Amy Atlas for Sunday Suppers

Check out this latest creation by Amy Atlas, a Moroccan dessert buffet for Sunday Suppers. Orange and turquoise is a bold color combination to begin with, so I love that she didn’t shy away from it and pushed it to its limits with the backdrop and various patterns.

DIY Resource: The Inspired Bride

The recently redesigned Inspired Bride is packed with resources for your DIY projects, from color palettes to planning tools. My favorite part is the design elements directory, which so far contains three adorable patterns. Click here to download them for personal use.

Ribbons and Bows

I’m definitely a sucker for ribbons and bows  —  especially these modern, tailored examples from Martha. For even more examples and DIY ideas check out the entire set right here.

Invitation du Jour

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m really into taking down the formality a notch with the whole first names only idea. So today I’m loving this modern and unpretentious invitation by Smokeproof Press. Take a look at more of their work in their Flickr stream right here.

Ceremony Locations

Over the weekend we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and walked around Central Park to check out potential ceremony locations. You can basically apply for a permit and get married anywhere that you like for $25 (aside from the Conservatory Garden, which is $400), so there are tons of possibilities. For us, we want to […]

Invitation du Jour

This invitation suite, created by Information Strategist Henry Faber for his own wedding, is so much fun. I know nothing about Habbo, the online community where the couple met. But I love how they designed the whole set around their personal story, and that they did it so well. I also LOVE that they incorporated the use of […]

Whipped Bakeshop

These cookies might be too pretty too eat. Whipped Bakeshop’s dessert creations are without a doubt mini works of art. See for yourself right here.

Long Overdue

Not sure how I have gone this long without mentioning our own phởtographer, Margaret Singer! Photography is easily one of our top priorities  —  if not the top  —  for the entire wedding. So booking Margaret was one of the first (and most fun) decisions we’ve made so far. She is amazingly talented and we can’t wait to work with […]
