Invitation du Jour

When I saw these invitations from Jennifer & Manny’s wedding on Snippet & Ink the other day, I instantly loved them. The liner pattern is gorgeous. And all the elements combined — pattern, color palette, children’s book illustrations, and calligraphy by Betsy Dunlap — amounts to such a light-hearted, whimsical look and feel. phởtos by Erik Eckroth

I just wrote a blog post over at designworklife about the whole balloons as props trend. I was definitely feeling like it’s on the verge of being overdone, but then I saw this engagement shoot by Erin Hearts Court, and got sucked back in. I think it has something to do with the combination of lots of bright colors […]

Voltron of Awesomeness

I always get extremely excited when I see an unread blog post from Voltron of Awesomeness (aka Jeff Newsom), because I know that whatever wedding or engagement he shot most recently will undoubtedly be vibrant, creative and gorgeous. See for yourself right here.

Thinking About Pinwheels

I can’t see a Pinwheel without thinking of that show on Nickelodeon and singing the theme song in my head. Anyone else remember it? It was one of my favorites when I was little. That is, however, beside the point. The idea of pinwheels as wedding décor though, is a bit more relevant — and so much fun. The idea […]

Fun Freebies

Some day when I actually have some free time I would love to make some printables available for download. Not sure when that will happen though, so in the meantime you should check out these two: Gettin’ Hitched Door Hanger by Rachel of Benign Objects (who is off getting married herself, by the way) Country Chic Floral Thank You […]

Love & Marriage

Let’s get serious for a minute. When it comes to weddings, we often get caught up in colors and fabrics and details and things, because let’s face it, it’s pretty fun to focus on them. But when it really comes down to it, a wedding is, of course, about commitment and relationships and love and friends and […]

Invitation du Jour

Hello, hello. Long time no talk, yet again. I have about 25 posts that are partially drafted (slight exaggeration) and I hope to get up over the next few days, so here goes. First up is an invitation I meant to post about a week and a half ago. The printing for invitation was designed and printed by Austin Petito (who […]

Invitation du Jour

I love the sleek modern feel of this invitation by Aaron Eiland. The intricate heart pattern reminds me of the work of the amazing Marian Bantjes, and I love the heavy use of black. Definitely something you don’t see too often.

Holy Gorgeousness

On top of the fact that’s new black label line is (as expected) over-the-top amazing, the model they worked with is absolutely stunning.
