Well… I cer­tainly didn’t intend to skip out of here for three weeks. I can’t believe how quickly those weeks went by actually.

To tell you the truth, on top of work and dwl and fam­ily com­mit­ments, I’ve pretty much been obsess­ing over our invi­ta­tions. B and I have been talk­ing about them and mak­ing dum­mies and research­ing mate­ri­als for just about as long as I’ve been gone, if not longer. I tend to do this with design projects for myself — become fix­ated on the project and sec­ond guess my deci­sions for awhile. And more often than not, I’ll get to a point where I think the design is fin­ished, then take a cou­ple days away from it and decide I was wrong. That sec­ond time around is usu­ally where the final design takes shape. I know, it’s insane, espe­cially to any­one who isn’t a designer. I def­i­nitely think they’re get­ting close though, so hope­fully I’ll have a lit­tle sneak peek for you later in the week.

But anyways…on to other people’s invi­ta­tions! I LOVE this etsy record sleeve invi­ta­tion for it’s con­cept, color and simplicity.
