After the fact, a videographer is the one thing that I wish could have fit into our budget but couldn’t. I would love to be able to relive the events of the day over and over and view them from a different perspective; which is why I’m loving these videos from Jason Groupp Photography. Most of their videos are […]
I fell in love with this set of images the second I laid eyes on them. The colors are gorgeous. The flowers are gorgeous. The posing and composition is fun and interesting. And that bike? I mean, how much more perfect can it get? There are quite a few more images in the set over at Sloan Photographers’ […]

Lily Blue is Leah Zawadzki, and she is one talented lady. These images, taken entirely with film, are from Jonathan Canlas’s FIND workshop (take a look right here to see a few more.) I love the sweet, simple look and feel of the shoot. And the images themselves are so incredibly crisp, clean and vibrant.

I’m not sure how it’s possible that I have not yet featured Katie Day’s work on this blog. I really have no idea. Because not only is she incredibly sweet, she is super talented. And I mean super. Her latest shoot, which she kindly sent over, is a perfect example. It features multiple costume and location changes, all kinds […]
I spotted these newspaper-themed engagement shots in Readymade awhile back, and finally got a chance to take a closer look at Bethany’s work. Turns out the rest of her portraits are just as playful and fun. Take a closer look right here.
I’ve been meaning to post about this wedding photo shoot since I saw it a couple of weeks ago, and unfortunately it fell through the cracks. But I came across the link again today and fell in love all over again. Part of this couple’s wedding day, shot by The Parsons, was spent at Hammerpress, and what an […]
Two pieces of extra good news: ONE: My wonderful phởtographer, Margaret Singer, has teamed up with another wonderful phởtographer, Max Freeman, to form Unusually Fine. I absolutely love their story and you will too. Don’t believe me? Watch this little video. TWO: And in possibly even bigger news, the newly established duo is running a contest. One […]

I’m loving the fun, unpretentious images of James Julius, especially this retro-inspired engagement series featuring colorful paper planes.

Sometimes the generosity and kindness of people who I’ve met (virtually, anyway) through one blog or another, blows me away. When Katie, a talented phởtographer and one of my loyal readers, read about my photography/wedding show débâcle, she generously offered to do a complimentary engagement session for us. I mean, how cool is that? We of course took […]
