Save the Dates!

It’s been awhile, yet again. If you’re wondering what I have been up to this post may answer that question. I’m excited to finally share with your our Save the Dates! Putting them together was truly a labor of love, as Brian and I both spent hours designing, trimming, folding, and assembling every last one of them.

If you’re interested in the details, the Save the Date itself was printed digitally, and all the other pieces we printed ourselves on our home ink jet. I also can’t write this post without mentioning the calligraphic contributions of Katy of K is for Calligraphy, and Jenna Hein. Katy calligraphed and assembled the envelope seals with “Save the Date” on vintage New York maps to go with our whole theme. And awhile ago I had Jenna calligraph our return address so that I could make it into a stamp, so it was put to good use here. Both ladies gave us quite a few lovely options that I have been wanting to share for months. So I will be sure to do a follow-up post with those very soon. I can’t recommend working with either of them enough.

I’ve been so excited to see the first hints of your wedding stationery — and it definitely hasn’t disappointed. I bet all your guests are going to be very excited to get these treasures in the mail. I love all the type, just amazing… Well done guys!

PS. Does that mean navy is going to be one of your main colours? If so, awesome!

Very nice. Love the map liner on the envelopes. Did you attach those yourself or purchase them that way?

@Jane: I WISH they had been purchased that way. But no, we (well Brian mostly took care of that part :-) individually cut and assembled each one.

@ Brett: Aw thanks!! I can’t wait to share your invitations here once they’re all sent out!
